our vet treats our 12 year old chocolate lab Tobie like the member of our family that she truly is. we were so worried when arthritis started crippling her and frightened of the thought of possibly losing her at some point. dr. layer started treating her with acupuncture and also cold laser therapy to ease her pain, eventually we decided to go ahead with the stem cell therapy surgery in hopes that this would deliver the best outcome and give her a few years of pain free living with better mobility. dr. layer is an awesome vet and we always feel that her goal is the same as ours, that Tobie has the best quality of life. we so appreciate finding her hospital, and all the staff are wonderful. Dr. Layer is a very progressive veterinarian and goes the extra mile to ensure the best for our, and I'm sure every pet that she treats. Any vet can treat ailments with pain pills, but I believe it takes an exceptional vet to do the kinds of therapies dr. layer is trained in and practices.

Dr. Kruger is the internist who has saved Elvis' life! She is beyond fantastic! Elvis has many life long medical issues and she is there with us every step of the way, whether it is during her regular day, her day off, after hours or before hours she is always available for her patients and their families. The love and passion she has for the animals and the humans has helped us to handle and work with his medical issues easier. Dr. Kruger always presents us with options and their potential outcomes regarding Elvis' care and that really helps us to look at the big picture and to make the best informed decision for him. Since Elvis spends a lot of time at the Vet it is very comforting for us knowing that he is well taken care, is getting lots of love and plenty of spoiling! He actually enjoys his visits and has never been afraid because he knows he will feel better once we leave and go home - that says a lot about the vet and the staff. Pet Care in Santa Rosa, CA is 1st class all the way and they are all angels and my family are thankful every day for having them in our life and Elvis' life.Thank you,Michele Rose and Family
